Bucketfeet’s Artist Affiliate Program gives any artist the opportunity to earn supplemental revenue while promoting their Bucketfeet products or the products designed by any other artist they choose to support. Bucketfeet Affiliates use trackable URLs to promote Bucketfeet products through their own social networks and followings. As a Bucketfeet Affiliate, you are eligible to earn a 15% referral commission each time you refer a customer who makes a purchase using your unique referral link. Commissions will be about $10-$15 for each referred sale through your affiliate link. The affiliate fee is paid on top of any artist commissions that you receive for sales of your products.
The holiday season is one of the best times to try affiliate marketing. Once you’ve signed up for an affiliate account, the process is very quick and easy and just a matter of creating specialized links.
1. Set Up Your Bucketfeet Affiliate Account
Visit here to register through our affiliate network partner ShareASale.
Once you register, you should be approved within 1–2 business days. If you have questions, email our Customer Experience Team at email@example.com; please tell the team that you're a Bucketfeet Artist interested in our Artist Affiliate Program.
2. Create Affiliate Links
Once approved by Bucketfeet, go here to learn how to create your affiliate links. You can link to any page on Bucketfeet, and we recommend linking to specific product description pages (PDPs) or our homepage.
When a customer clicks on one of your affiliate links, a tracking cookie is placed on their browser. All sales referred by you through affiliate links will yield a 15% commission (based on sale price) and be tracked via our affiliate network partner, ShareASale. Bucketfeet offers a generous 120-day tracking window from first click to sale. For example, if someone clicks on your link and purchases the product four months later, we are able to track the referral and pay you for that sale.
Please note these commissions are processed separately from artist commissions paid out directly from Bucketfeet and are tracked and distributed by our affiliate network (ShareASale).
3. Pick Your Promotional Platforms
As you’re developing a content strategy, focus on the promotional channels that work best for you. Whether it’s a particular social media platform, email newsletter, a blog or your website, there are a number of ways that you can drive traffic to the Bucketfeet URLs of your choice.
Some Bucketfeet Artists include affiliate links in the navigation bars of their personal websites, social media accounts, and email signatures to monetize the traffic they receive to their personal blogs.
4. Use or Create Compelling Content
When it comes to creating interesting, genuine content, think about what makes other brands and bloggers’ content and social posts interesting. What do you like about their images? Which captions capture your attention? Is something unique about the storyline?
Feel free to use Bucketfeet’s website or social media photography in your social media or blog posts. As far as your writing voice goes, visualize your target market, and consider writing like you might speak to a friend. Make your content authentic to who you are as a person.
5. Consider Promoting or Collaborating With Fellow Bucketfeet Artists
Bucketfeet Affiliates are eligible to receive commissions on sales of any Bucketfeet product—not just on sales of your own Bucketfeet products. Of course, it’s up to you whether you want to focus on promoting your own products or expand your strategy to promote other artists’ products as well. To give an example, you may want to produce a roundup of your favorite shoes from many artists.
